DESCRIPTION:
Germany, smaller walnut cased spring "Vienna" regulator, double door style, with embossed dial center bearing a cherubs face below 12, and the embossed pendulum with a similar large central cherubs face. 8 days, time and gong strike, c1900
CONDITION:
ten small embossed case accents are intact. Old finish has deteriorated; worn to wood in some places. The top to the case is unusual, appearing as if someone took the bottom from another clock and used it as the top on this one. The 5 1/2 inch cream colored porcelain dial is perfect with red decorations between the numerals. Movement is complete and sound, but would benefit from cleaning and oiling. There are minor nicks and scrapes to the case, commensurate with its age. Ht 34"
